Use of Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service of Google Inc. (hereinafter: Google). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, i.e. text files saved on your computer, allowing an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website will as a rule be transmitted to a Google server located in the U.S. and stored there. Due to the activation of IP anonymisation on these web pages, your IP address will, however, be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other signatories to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the complete IP address be transmitted to a Google server located in the U.S. and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to analyse your use of the website, in order to draw up reports about the website activities, and in order to provide further services to the website operator in connection with the website and Internet use. The IP address transmitted by your browser within the scope of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.

The purposes of data processing reside in analysing website use and in compiling reports about activities on this website. Based on the use of this website and the Internet, further associated services are then to be provided. Processing is based on the legitimate interest of the website operator.

You may prevent the saving of cookies by changing the settings of your browser software accordingly; however, we point out that in this case, you may not be able to use all functionalities of this website to their full extent. Moreover, you may prevent the recording of the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) by Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading the browser plug-in available at the following link and installing it: Browser Add On zur Deaktivierung von Google Analytics.

In addition, or as an alternative to the browser add-on, you may prevent Google Analytics from tracking our pages by clicking this link. This will install an opt-out cookie on your device. This will prevent future collecting by Google Analytics for this website and for this browser, as long as the cookie stays installed in your browser.

Publication of job ads / online job applications

Your application data will be electronically collected and processed for the purpose of managing the application process. If your application results in an employment contract, then the data you provided can be stored by us in your personnel file for the purposes of the usual organisational and administrative processes in compliance with the respective legal provisions.

In case your application is rejected, then the data you provided will be automatically deleted two months after informing you of the rejection. This is not the case if due to legal requirements (e.g. burden of proof according to the General Equal Treatment Act [AGG]) the data need to be stored for a longer period, or if you expressly gave your consent to our storing your data for a longer period in our database of prospective employees.

Use of Google Maps

On our website, we use the component “Google Maps” by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, hereinafter called “Google”.

Every time the component “Google Maps” is called up, Google places a cookie in order to process user settings and user data when displaying the page on which the component “Google Maps” is integrated. As a rule, this cookie will not be deleted by closing the browser, but it expires after a certain time, unless you delete it manually earlier than that.

If you do not agree with this processing of your data, it is possible to deactivate the service by “Google Maps” and thus prevent the transfer of data to Google. For this, you need to deactivate the JavaScript function in your browser. Please note, that in this case, you will not be able to use “Google Maps”, or only to a limited extent.
The use of “Google Maps” and the information collected via “Google Maps” takes place according to the Google terms of use
http://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/terms/regional.html
as well as the additional Terms and Conditions for “Google Maps”.
https://www.google.com/intl/de_de/help/terms_maps.html.

Use of script libraries (Google Webfonts)

In order to display our content across different browsers correctly and in a visually appealing form, we use script libraries and type font libraries on our website, such as Google Webfonts (https://www.google.com/webfonts/). In order to avoid multiple loading, Google Webfonts are transferred to the cache of your browser. If the browser does not support Google Webfonts or prevents access, contents will be displayed in a default typeface.

Accessing script libraries or type font libraries will automatically establish a connection to the operator of the respective library. During this process, it is theoretically possible – though it is currently not clear, if and to which purpose – that the operators of such libraries may collect data. Please refer to the privacy policy of Google as a library operator here: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/

SSL Encryption

For reasons of safety and security and in order to protect the transfer of confidential content, such as requests you send to us as the website operator, this website uses SSL Encryption. You can tell a transmission is encrypted by the browser’s URL line switching from “http://” to “https://”, and displaying the icon of a lock to the left of the URL in the browser line.

If SSL Encryption is enabled, the data you transfer to us cannot be read by third parties.
